6 Blog And Social Media Content Ideas For August For Your Small Business
Every month we send out a Creative Content Calendar for free - all you have to do is sign up for our mailing list. It has all the National Awareness Days and events that you could use as a springboard for your content on social media, blogging and pitching to the press. Want to know how to use these for your marketing? We wrote a blog called How to use national awareness days for your content creation which will help get you started.
Here are 6 ideas for content that you can use in August:
NATIONAL PLANNER DAY (1st)
Share organisation tips that you have developed especially if you are a B2B business or maybe your favourite planner. Maybe you have a product that helps with planning that you can share. Alternatively, simply ask a question about whether people use a paper diary or an online app.
BOOK LOVER'S DAY (9th)
Share your favourite business books that have inspired you or helped you on your journey. People love to share their favourites so ask them what their favourite book is and why. If you're a product business get creative and share the character who would most use your products.
NATIONAL RELAXATION DAY (15th)
Encourage your audience to relax by sharing some tips on chilling. If you're a product-based business share how your items help people to relax. Maybe share a story on what you do to relax - link this to how it helps with your work/life balance and mental health.
NATIONAL TELL A JOKE DAY (16th)
Share a joke linked to your line of work and create a graphic using Canva. If you get stuck use AI to come up with some ideas!
WORLD ENTREPRENEUR'S DAY (21st)
Today share your business journey; why you chose your field, your training and your "why". You could also share other entrepreneurs that you admire and how they have inspired you.
NATIONAL HEROES DAY (28th)
Share your hero and the impact they had on you - this could be someone famous, a peer or someone from your childhood. You could make this into a giveaway by asking your audience to tag an everyday hero to win something.
