6 Blog And Social Media Content Ideas For April For Your Small Business

Every month we send out a Creative Content Calendar for free - all you have to do is sign up for our mailing list. It has all the National Awareness Days and events that you could use as a springboard for your content on social media, blogging and pitching to the press. Want to know how to use these for your marketing? We wrote a blog called How to use national awareness days for your content creation which will help get you started.

Here are 6 ideas for content that you can use in April:

STRESS AWARENESS MONTH (all month):

The whole of April is dedicated to reducing stress which is a great idea for multiple posts as life is stressful. Share advice and tips especially if your product or service can reduce overwhelm.

TELL A LIE DAY (4th):

Have some fun and share 2 truths and one lie about your business and ask people to guess. This is a great way to share information on your products or even to share what's important to you i.e. your values.

EASTER (7th-10th):

Don't wait until Easter Sunday to share Easter wedding ideas - get started now. This can be recipes and food, from gifting to hats (think Easter bonnets!)

TELL A STORY DAY (27th):

Share your story - why you do what you do and the journey it took to get here. People LOVE to hear more about you so make sure you add some anecdotes and be honest as this will make you more relatable.

FASHION REVOLUTION WEEK (22nd-29th):

If your designs are sustainable and you're a fan of slow fashion, join in with Fashion Revolution Week. Create posts about your eco credentials or tips for finding a second-hand dress or suit.

EARTH DAY (22nd):

Earth Day is a great day to share any part of your green business - from reducing waste or your recycling practices; this is the time to shout loudly.
