6 Blog And Social Media Content Ideas For July For Your Small Business

Every month we send out a Creative Content Calendar for free - all you have to do is sign up for our mailing list. It has all the National Awareness Days and events that you could use as a springboard for your content on social media, blogging and pitching to the press. Want to know how to use these for your marketing? We wrote a blog called How to use national awareness days for your content creation which will help get you started.

Here are 6 ideas for content that you can use in July:

PLASTIC FREE JULY (all month)

Consider what you do to reduce your plastic as part of your business or packaging for products and share this across the month. If you are an eco business share tips so others can do the same.

TELL THE TRUTH DAY (7th)

Today share your "why" - why you do what you do. Maybe create a post with two lies and one truth and ask your audience to work out which is the truth. Make the truth something important that you want to communicate.

NATIONAL SIMPLICITY DAY (12th)

Take the time to simplify your business and maybe your processes and encourage your audience to do the same. Create a post about minimalism and how this can help the planet.

WORLD EMOJI DAY (17th)

Everyone loves an emoji so today why not create a fun post such as asking your audience to share their most used emojis? Or share a message only using emojis such as countries you send products to in the form of emoji flags or foods to help with menopause using emojis. This would make a fun Reel or TikTok too.

WORLD LISTENING DAY (18TH)

Take the time today to ask for feedback and listen to what you are told. Start honest conversations with your audience.

NATIONAL LIPSTICK DAY (29th)

If you are a beauty brand share your favourite lipsticks. However, don't forget you can simply ask a question to drive engagement such as "Do you wear makeup to work?" or "Do you think it is more professional to wear makeup to work?"
